We know there are other providers of first aid training in North Wales and we appreciate it can be difficult to choose between them. You might think all first aid training is the same and that’s true to a point (no matter which first aid company you choose, you’ll learn pretty much the same skills). So let us help you narrow down those options.
Apart from the fact we’re one of the only local providers of OFQUAL regulated first aid courses (your first aid certificate from North Wales First Aid actually means something and hasn’t just been knocked up in Microsoft Word!); and the fact that our courses are recommended by 100% of participants (check out our Google reviews); we also believe we offer the best value first aid training around. How do we know this? Well we’ve done our homework.
So how does first aid training from North Wales First Aid compare with other local providers? We regularly keep an eye the competition to be sure we’re offering the best value. For example, if you want to attend a one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course, we charge £89 + £8 certificate fee. Compare that with £173 + VAT with British Red Cross. Or £195 + VAT with St John Ambulance! If you chose St John Ambulance Cymru, they’re a little better value at £145 + VAT but that’s still nearly DOUBLE what you’d pay us. (North Wales First Aid doesn’t charge VAT).
For a three day First Aid at Work course, we charge £175 + £12 certificate fee. If you were to book that same course with St John Ambulance Cymru you’ll pay £320 +VAT; British Red Cross will charge you £359 + VAT while the same course with St John Ambulance will cost you £399 + VAT.
So why is North Wales First Aid cheaper than the competition? Well we’re a smaller, local business with a smaller team of instructors with fewer overheads such as fancy city offices to pay for. You’ll still get the best training with latest equipment backed by a recognised awarding organisation. No brainer right?
We do appreciate that British Red Cross, St John Ambulance and St John Ambulance Cymru are charitable organisations and do great work in the first aid community; but that’s a high price to pay for your first aid training especially if you’re booking your whole team on to a course.
