Our Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification provides the perfect introduction to emergency first aid. Taking just one day to complete, it’s ideal for those working in low-risk environments.

Learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide their organisation with Emergency First Aider’s that can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner.

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is perfect for small or low-risk workplaces such as small offices with only a few healthy staff with no pre-existing health conditions. Employees will unlikely to be engaging in physical tasks like heavy lifting, using vehicles or heavy machinery. Instead they might be using computers, chairs and desks.

Of course, accidents and injuries can still happen in low-risk environments. A colleague could have a heart attack, stroke or a fall banging their head. Dealing with an unresponsive casualty or serious injury is just who someone with Emergency First Aid at Work skills is critical.

The Emergency First Aid at Work course from North Wales First Aid covers a range of subjects including:

  • Responsibilities and reporting
  • Assessment of the situation
  • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
  • Basic hygiene in First Aid
