The two-day Paediatric First Aid course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care. 

Our Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid course is regulated by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). Don’t accept anything else! 

This two-day qualification fulfils the requirements for first aid training detailed in the Department for Education’s statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This qualification is regulated in the UK by Ofqual and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA). Over the two days, we’ll cover a range of paediatric first aid topics including:

  • Role of the Paediatric First Aider

  • Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)

Please note this paediatric first aid course is for adults. Unfortunately, we don’t deliver first aid training to under 18’s.

Our Paediatric First Aid courses have a maximum of 12 people so you’re always guaranteed the attention of our instructors. All sorts of people come on our first aid courses from all sorts of backgrounds and all ages but what they all have in common is a desire to learn more about being able to help others in times of need.

The course takes place over two days (16 hours). We usually start each day at 9am and aim to finish before 4pm.

Our public first aid courses take place at InTec on Parc Menai in Bangor, North Wales. We have a large, modern training room with all the facilities you’d expect. There’s plenty of on-site parking and for cyclists, we have secure bike storage and shower facilities!
